Carry the power of Thor with Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, on a stainless steel chain with raven’s head clasps! Mjolnir (also Mjöllnir) was both thunder-god Thor’s preferred weapon and the means by which he granted blessings. As a symbol, it was widely in use during the viking era, and versions of it were often worn or carried as talismans by the vikings, who certainly would have wanted to call upon Thor’s strength, protection, and skill in battle.
This bright steel Hammer of Thor Raven King’s Chain features a knotwork mjolnir pendant which recalls Allfather Odin and Geri and Freki. This is a high quality and modernized reconstruction of chain and mjolnir of the findings from Ödeshög, Östergötland, Sweden.
Vegvisir Rune Viking Shield Ring – Sterling Silver. This Sterling Silver Viking Ring is from our Premium Old Gods Jewelry Line.
A vegvísir (Icelandic for sign post or wayfinder) is an Icelandic magical stave intended to help the bearer find their way through rough weather. The symbol is attested in the Huld Manuscript, collected in Iceland by Geir Vigfusson in 1880 (but consisting of material of earlier origin).
Vegvísir is derived from two Icelandic words, vegur and vísir. Vegur means way, road, or path, and vísir means path or guide. Vegur is derived from the Old Norse vegr, Proto-Germanic *wegaz, or the Proto-Indo-European *weǵʰ-. Vísir is derived from the Old Norse vísa meaning to show, point out or indicate, or the Proto-Germanic wīsōną or wisaz, meaning to visit.
The band of this ring also features oak leaves and acorns — in Norse mythology, symbols of good fortune, protection, and Thor.

Jormungandr Midgard Serpent Viking Ring. This Premium Ring is from our Handcrafted Viking Forge Line.
Perhaps the ultimate symbol of overcoming fear among the Viking was the Midgard Serpent, Jormungandr.
This son of Loki lives in the waters that surround Midgard and is so enormous that it can encircle the entire world and hold its one tail in its mouth. The serpent stays in its murky waters, but according to the prophecy of Ragnarok, the Norse end of the world, when the end of the world is nigh, he will emerge from the waters to kill Thor. The prophecy says that the two will fight to the death. Thor will kill the serpent with his hammer, but Jormungandr will spill so much of his venom onto Thor that he too will die.
Thus for Thor, Jormungandr could be the ultimate symbol of fear as he marks the moment of his death. But in all of the stories, Thor shows no fear of the beast, and even welcomes the challenge of the final confrontation. As such, among the Vikings, the Midgard Serpent represented our ability to overcome our fears and find the courage that we need.
