The serk (also called a shift or underdress) was the base layer for every Viking woman. A full-length garment, usually undyed or naturally bleached, worn directly against the skin.
Wear with an over dress and belt (either wide or narrow) and accessorize it with a small leather belt bag for a really authentic look.
If you are planning on using it a muddy Ren Fair we strongly recommend grabbing a pair of skirt hitches to pull it up out of the mud!
