This Viking shield features a carved Celtic Cross at the center, ringed with Norse braid work and finished with steel bolts. Crosses and interlace patterns appeared on Viking shields and stones during the early medieval period, when Norse warriors mixed Christian and Norse symbols on their gear. Built from 15mm birch plywood with a protective acrylic coat. Ready for the wall or the field.
