This red Viking cloak features a large functional hood and front tie closure. Vikings wore bright colors as signs of wealth and status. Red dye came from madder root and was prized across Scandinavia. Made from a heavy woolen mixture that provides warmth during events. The hood doubles as a collar when down. Front strings secure the cloak at the chest.
