This pair of Jörmungandr hoop earrings features a single serpent winding around the hoop with its head meeting its tail in an antiqued silver-tone finish. Jörmungandr was the Midgard Serpent of Norse cosmology, cast into the sea by Odin and grown so vast that he circled the world of men with his own tail in his mouth. He was fated to face Thor in Ragnarök, and the two would kill each other in the final battle.
