When most people think of Viking clothing, they probably imagine heavy furs and animal skins. However, the truth is that Viking shirts were made of a sturdy material that was able to withstand the elements. This was important because it allowed people to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The fabric was also breathable, which prevented people from becoming overheated.
This made Viking shirts the perfect clothing for people who worked outdoors. Viking shirts were more than just clothing; they also had a great deal of symbolic meaning. For example, the color of a Viking's shirt could indicate their social status. Wealthier Vikings would wear shirts made of finer fabrics, such as silk, while poorer Vikings would wear coarser fabrics, such as wool.
