This Helm of Awe Viking pendant is made of steel and comes in two different lengths.
The Helm of Awe, known as "Aegishjalmur" in Old Norse, is a powerful symbol steeped in ancient Viking tradition and mythology. This iconic emblem is designed to embody the essence of protection and strength.
It is a symbol of fearlessness and invincibility, often used to inspire awe and intimidate adversaries. According to Norse legends, warriors would inscribe this symbol on their foreheads before battle, believing it would grant them physical and mental fortitude, ensuring victory over their enemies.
The central circle represents protection, surrounded by tridents that radiate outwards, symbolizing the power to keep harm at bay. Every line and curve in this piece is carefully crafted to preserve the authentic Norse aesthetic.
